I’ve found myself lately thinking alot about time, i think it’s pretty safe to say we all wish that we could control it.

Some of us wish we could turn back time and relive those wonderful moments in our lives that remain so vivd in our memories. Or maybe just spend time with a loved one who has passed on and say those things we always meant to say but never found the time or the right words to say.

For my part i wish i could speed time up, as i may have mentioned i have a genetic disease and as a result of that i have an operation to remove a tumour from my head in two weeks time, and the wait is driving me insane. You can’t help yourself when your waiting for something to happen, you find your mind drifts to everything that could go wrong and slowly become convinced that everything that can go wrong, will. Sometimes you just need to stop and re-assure yourself that everything that can be done to prevent problems arising is going to be done and that, speaking personnely, the doctors performing the operation are professionals who know what they’re doing, despite what the press may say.

In the end, none of us can control time, we just need to make the best of the cards we’re dealt and take it one day at a time.
