Have They Abandoned Us?

15 December, 2008. | Post by Adam R

No! No we have not! So where is everyone!? Well let’s face it, it’s Christmas time! So we’re to be found where there is mistletoe and wine! Now in all truth, a bit of slacking is the case, but large amounts of Christmas shopping, watching those t.v shows, the x-factor final (The rightful winner won) and assessments!

Me and Scott are both students, and we have both got assessments due towards Christmas, I have five days left to turn mine in, and with looking to head to Lou’s for Christmas its a busy time!

Santa’s Coming!

It’s a time for everybody to get excited, so why not let yourself go and have a laugh this Christmas, even if you’re normally the Scrooge in the family! Get the DVD’s out, watch the Grinch or Elf, a Christmas Carol! come on folks!

A close-to Christmas present me and Lou will be receiving is the first visual footage, so to speak, of our unborn baby. And it’s coming this Thursday at 10.30am! I am so excited its crazy, I’m to the point I don’t want to wait any more, and want our child already! Twins run in our family, and both me and Louise have been saying Them, They and The Kids, others seem to think we are going to be having twins, If we do or not I will be just as happy!

I’ve been doing some thinking about Dreams and Achievements lately. I’ve wanted, since I was about 14, to write and release my own book, or series of books. I have quite a few ideas wrote down, none relating to the same genre as another. There is one I have made a start on, I have around, 20 starts to stories, that will never be used. And now I have it in my head, I want to release a children’s series of books, to help them learn through entertainment. This may just be because I will be a dad next year, or it could just be a marvellous idea. But I suffer a massive case of writers block right now, so I can’t start anything!

I will, one day, release my own book to book stores everywhere, but when, I do not know.

What are your unachieved dreams? And what is stopping you?
