Theresa May: Yes, it is your fault

The Home Secretary is one of the most prestigious posts within the British government. This person is responsible for internal affairs, immigration, citizenship as well as policing and national security. These are not small responsibilities. Now imagine what might happen if you completely fucked one of these up. Maybe border controls were relaxed and streams of people were allowed through unchecked. Theresa May not only allowed this, she also lied about where and when these occurrences happened. She is now trying to defer all responsibility to the then-border chief Brodie Clark.
Despite her pilot scheme having such massive failings, it was Mr Brodie Clark who quit last week after the Home Secretary told MPs he had relaxed border controls at ports and airports without ministerial authorisation. Oh really?! So why Mrs May, pray tell, did you refuse to share copies of letters and emails on border arrangements with the Commons home affairs select committee? Why all of a sudden do you not know what the fuck is going on with our border control? Are you not the home secretary? Are you not responsible for the clarity of this scheme and how it is carried out?
On top of the Home Secretary's lying and deceit, Mr Brodie Clark was allegedly offered ~£100,000 in exchange for his early retirement after this incident. This was later withdrawn on orders of senior Home Office officials, probably after they realised this looks like bribery. The last thing Theresa May wants after breaking the ministerial code is a police investigation.
Ignorance is bliss, if bliss was retaining a ministerial salary of more than £65,000 a year plus expenses. This is the same person who has forced police cuts and neglected to answer David Rathband, a police Constable who was shot in the face by gunman Raoul Moat, when he asked “I was paid £35,000 last year, do you think I'm paid too much?”
I wonder if she would feel the same if her life was on the line every time she went to work. It must be nice sipping tea and not making adequate decisions. More of her incompetency can be seen only by taking a look at the London riots. Her dithering over decisions and refusal to use the water cannon to disperse crowds only prolonged the riots and allowed them to spread to other areas.
I don't believe she is corrupt. However, the incumbent Home Secretary is probably better described as “The incompetent Home Secretary”. Unfortunately, despite large cuts to the police force, military, further cuts to border control and allowing masses of people into the country unchecked – The home secretary is going nowhere.
At one point, the Government must realise that spending billions going to war and cutting costs at home (which translates directly into manpower and jobs) isn't going to save our economy. Of course, it's always smart to make cuts to the military whilst fighting numerous wars.
